Al Garhoud Bridge is one of the four road bridges that cross the Dubai Creek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The old bridge was constructed in 1976 and was replaced by a new bridge in 2008 to combat traffic congestion. The new Al Garhoud Bridge has a total of 14 lanes, 7 in each direction, and is able to handle 16,000 vehicles per hour. The bridge is 520 meters long and 16 meters above the water. It is decorated with artwork that looks like sand dunes during the day and waves at night with the aid of lighting. The bridge is a popular landmark in Dubai and is a great place to enjoy the city’s skyline.
